TempleDelivers – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of TempleDelivers (“we,” “our,” “us”) and the services we provide. By using our website, placing an order, or interacting with TempleDelivers, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

TempleDelivers is an independent, student-operated delivery service that picks up items from vendors and brings them to you.
We are not affiliated with Temple University or any restaurant, vendor, or business we deliver from.

TempleDelivers:

  • Picks up items on your behalf

  • Delivers to the location you provide

  • Charges a delivery fee for time and service

2. Delivery Radius & Requirements

Deliveries are limited to:

  • Temple University campus

  • Designated nearby buildings or dorms within our service radius

You must provide accurate:

  • Name

  • Contact info

  • Building + room number

  • Any special instructions

Incorrect information may result in delays or cancellations without refund.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Delivery fees are shown at checkout (typically $7 unless otherwise noted).

  • Payment must be completed before delivery.

  • All payments are processed through Stripe/Wix Payments.

  • TempleDelivers does not store payment information.

4. Order Accuracy & Vendor Responsibility

TempleDelivers does not prepare food or items.
All product responsibility is on the original vendor, including:

  • Food quality

  • Preparation

  • Freshness

  • Allergen handling

  • Accuracy of items

If your order is incorrect, missing items, or has quality issues, you must contact the vendor directly.

TempleDelivers is responsible only for pickup and delivery, not product defects.

5. Refund Policy

Delivery fees are non-refundable, including when:

  • The vendor makes an incorrect order

  • The item is prepared incorrectly

  • You change your mind after placing the order

  • You are unreachable or not present at delivery

  • You provided incorrect contact/dorm info

Refunds may be issued only at our discretion for exceptional circumstances such as:

  • We fail to complete a delivery

  • Our error prevents proper fulfillment

6. Delivery Attempts

We will attempt to contact you upon arrival.
If you do not respond within 10 minutes, the order may be marked as delivered or left at the front desk/entry.
No refund will be issued if you are unavailable.

7. User Conduct

By using TempleDelivers, you agree not to:

  • Provide false information

  • Harass or mistreat deliverers

  • Attempt fraud or chargebacks

  • Misuse the website or ordering system

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

TempleDelivers is not liable for:

  • Food quality, preparation, or safety

  • Vendor mistakes or missing items

  • Allergic reactions

  • Delays caused by vendors, campus conditions, or weather

  • Loss or damage to items after delivery

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Service Changes

We may:

  • Change delivery fees

  • Adjust operating hours

  • Suspend or discontinue services

  • Update these Terms at any time

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
